The Yamaha moved in. Works like a charm!
The only drawback of having a 100 Wpc amplifier that delivers "modern Watts"?
The VU-meter (set to VU instead of peak) hardly ever gets to 10 Watts..
Seller didn't package it ideally.. got a red scuff on the piano gloss sidepanel (superficial, but doesn't go away with microfibre cloth.. easy to remove with fingernail, though..)
Have yet to find a way to clean that properly without scratching it.
They also forgot one of the magnetic feet (made a deep scratch in my vinyl floor when I didn't lift it while inspecting the scuff.. yikes) but getting that mailed next week.
It's an absolute beauty, and a beast, too.
Just ordered a Norstone Esse Hifi rack because my hifi gear on the lowboard is starting to overpower the entire room.. This rack will sit in the corner with a plant in front of it (plant sits on rollers)

At 250 USD and carrying 40kg on the top shelf, this is perfect for my stereo system.
The Yamaha A-S2100 will go on the bottom shelf and the turntable on the top.
Planning on replacing my Pro-Ject Perspective at some point, ideally with a Yamaha GT-2000. So made sure that the top shelf can handle that
The Phono Preamp will have the third shelf all to itself. Although I'll want to compare that to the internal preamp on the Yamaha which is said to be extraordinary.
At some point, I'll probably add a Yamaha CD-S2000 or CD-S2100 to complement the A-S2100. (That will go on the second shelf)
Until then, my crappy Sony SACD-Player can have that spot.
But that one's hard to justify other than for the completionist in me. Because I never listen to CDs anymore.
(The CD-S2100 has a great DAC built-in, so I could use that to connect to my WiiM Pro Streamer and pretend I'm listening to CDs, I suppose.
Anyways, will update with a picture once I get that rack and installed stuff.
