Today at the local GW I spotted a mixer - not something I would usually have much interest in, since I am not into recording, but on this one all the writing was in German - eg 'Mischpult' instead of 'Mixer'. Being German myself, this attracted my interest. On further inspection, the mixer is a 220V model and still has the original German plug on the power cord. Using it in the US would require not only a plug adapter, but a voltage transformer. These things are not cheap, but I happen to have one.
Anyhow, the manufacturer of the mixer is Liese Elektronik - never heard about them. Has anybody else?
The model is DM1500A. It looks like a well made piece of equipment with a solid metal chassis. Featurewise it seems fairly basic - master control center, inputs for 4 stereo sources plus 1 stereo mic (or 2 mono mics), 5 band equalizer, 2 power meters.
For $25, is this something I should pick up in case I ever need a mixer, or not worth worrying about?
Many thanks.
