If he does still have them, do you recognize the model? They look like the shallow ones I've heard about that need near wall placement (I could be wrong about that) and that is not ideal for me.

Those look like Linn Index Mark 1 speakers....Not the best Linn have made but they do have the KEF B200 bass drivers and for $60 I wouldn't say no.
