Ok so I picked these up on a trade and think it would be fun to play around with. I honestly have no clue on what to do with these, but they seem to be fairly involved. This is what I have and any guidance would be awesome on the setup. Is there anything I need to consider? Any tips or tricks that would help in the process?

Linn Keltik
Linn Kaber
Linn Klimax Aktiv
Linn speaker cables
Linn KuStone bases (on each speaker)

The external crossovers are crazy, they are solid as can be and have a ton of weight. I have never used anything like this so I have no clue what the best setup would be for the system. I'm thinking of using a Sunfire 7201 or a BK combo (AV5000ii / Reference 20 Plus). I have other options as well but just wanting to get a little bit of an idea.

If there is anyone that knows Linn setups that would be ideal as even the information I've read says that a perfect scenario would be Linn techs installing.

Clear pics of the back panels of all associated components will help (Klimax, Keltik and Kaber)

I’ve had the Keltik, ran a different electronic crossover tho. Same idea.

Keltik has two woofers in an isobaric setup. Amps used to run the woofers must be the same in every way if you want even bass response. Each speaker will require four channels for that alone. Low pass out of the Klimax can be split if two lowpass outs are not provided. Or use a single 4 channel amp (if available) two stereo units will also work, one for each channel. Mid and hi pass can be achieved much the same way, it does look like there are little level controls for each out on the Klimax. Choose mid and hi freq amps to your taste. Level match to taste or use a spectrum analyzer.
Remember: it’s a hobby, have fun! Experiment.

The speaker cables should be relatively self evident in hook up. Everything else is RCA.

Thanks, I haven't had a lot of time to play with them much. I will snap some pics and try to get them uploaded.

Linns had either a passive or an active (which iirc was the recommended) crossover.

What I can say, is I really really liked the sound of Linn speakers, regardless of where they (technologically) originated.

Good luck!
