So I have a Linn LP12 here with what I believe is a bad motor (the supply outputs the correct adjustable voltage). The motor in the unit is labeled 50-60HZ 250-300RPM.
What I am trying to figure out is if it's just a 50Hz motor with a different sized pulley or not. This unit appears to have an earlier Valhalla board for the US market as it has a 3.9200 crystal and inputs a 60hz wave to the motor.
My motor appears to have a 17MM pulley as well, so I guess if I get a 50Hz motor, with the smaller pulled the speed will still be correct?
