My Current set up is

Michi x3

B&W 705s

Linn Sondek with Akito Arm

Ortofon 2m bronze

Looking for recommendations for a phono preamp (really disapointed in the michi phono stage). Not sold on tubes, but might warm the system up a little. The michi is very neutral. Also looking for advice for tonearm cables for the Akito. Thanks! (sorry if this post is redundant with others)

Budget would help.
Under $1k - Darlington Labs MP-7 IMO the best under $1k phono stage out there.
Under $2k - Maybe Lehman Decade or Sutherland 20/20. I looked at Hegel V10 and others. Some folks like the Gold Note PH10. I had a Tavish Adagio which is just over $2k.
Since you got a Michi I'm assuming you want something to match that performance.
I use a Modwright PH9.0 (upgradeable to X). I wouldn't mind trying a Luxman EQ500 or maybe an Allnic 1202. Also Sutherland Duo or Herron VTPH2A -if you can find one. Zesto if I ever hit the lottery.
In this range and above I think they are all good.
Most are tube mainly because I prefer discrete over op-amp based designs.
