Main (lounge) system is the Thorens/Arcam/Quad set-up in my signature. This is the best system I've ever had and can sound jaw-droppingly good. The Arcam amp has an excellent phono stage which is pretty rare in modern amps.

Home cinema is completely seperate from my music system and will always stay that way - Panasonic SC-HT880 DVD/Home Cinema with tall pole mounted speakers all round, active sub and 1000w total output. Superb.

Bedroom = Denon DM-30 CD Receiver with Mission-made Denon SCM-50 speakers hooked up using thick Monster cable. Small but sounds superb!

Other bits I have = Dual CS503-2 turntable; Cambridge Audio A4 amp; JBL Control 1 spkrs; Technics SLP-G3 CD player. Hoping to use some of these bits in a second system for my music studio (where I use and record with my Roland keys rig), based around a Sansui amp when I find the right one.

I noticed you are using your Vandy 1Cs in your main room while relegating your 2CEs to another room. Do you prefer your 1Cs to your 2 CEs? Just kind of curious as I thought the 2CEs were the 'bigger brother' in the lineup. I know it is a darn fine speaker, regardless.
