Like many places we're currently on lockdown restrictions due to the COVID-19 pandemic. I'm one of the lucky ones who can do most of my work from home, and I have a pretty good space to use an an office. The photo is taken from a sofa which is a nice space to relax and listen to music.
Currently the system is:
JR-149 speakers - possibly overkill for this setting but they sound really good in near field
Lambert SP235 speakers - likely to change soon as they're running borrowed tweeters until I fix the originals
Technics SU-V60 amplifier
Sony CDP-CX355 300 CD player - it has about 25 inside until I can be bothered putting more in
AMC T7 tuner
Sony CDP-C365 5 disc CD player
TEAC LS-L800 subwoofer
I'm planning a few improvements as time permits, including twin Sony subs, replacing the printer with a turntable and figuring out a convenient way to run the desktop PC instead of my work laptop. That would allow me to serve up FLACs via a DAC which is what I usually do here, as well as use my portrait monitor.
Anyone else have a lockdown rig running to keep them happy?
