Long shot Fisher restoration

I have Fisher 800C that needs to be restored. I once had contact information for a shop in Southern California that specialized in Fisher tube gear. The owner operator built audio equipment for Eric Clapton out of his garage in the 60's. If anybody knows of this person and has contact info please let me know. If not does anyone know of a restoration shop in Southern California that they trust. There are several shops but I have never used any of them. This amp is a family hand me down and all the tubes are original so I need an honest shop. Thanks for any info you may have.

I will second that. I have a Dynaco ST70 that Dave worked on and it is an outstanding performing amp.

Tom Ishimoto in SIMI Valley also does excellent work. Shipping is going to be a barn burner for the 800c from SoCal to Atl and back. If you're closer to San Diego, Fred Longworth, who is a LONGTIME AK'er, owns Classic Audio Repair in San Diego (http://www.repairaudio.com). He also does excellent work.

Our AK 'audio-professor' Dave Gillespie works on Fishers. You could contact him to about the restoration. No link, just great respect for him and his work.
Would you have contact info. I did a search for his name on this site with no results.
