Looking for a small CD Player

Mark W.

Nut house of the Universe
I'm looking for a small (up to 9" wide) CD player to match up to my Realistic SA-155 amp and TM-155 Tuner for use in a small travel trailer.

I have looked at a couple in the WAY TO EXPENSIVE RANGE like the TEAC PD-301 and a Denon anyone know of any other? Front load as this system will be rack mounted (OK mini rack mounted)

I thought I would recommend an APEX AD-1010W CD/DVD player, but it is ten inches wide. Getting something smaller than that might require delving into the computer world.

Any new Sony BluRay player should fit the bill. Paid $79 I believe for one not long ago, and it was one of their most expensive lol.

No picture but suffice it to say it's no bigger than a VHS tape, and about as heavy lol.

I've had my Cyberhome CH-DVD 300 player for 15 years for DVD's
never thought about trying a cd. tried it this morning. plays them great.
8 7/8" wide. lots of them on ebay.

Any number of small, vintage dvd players would suit the bill. Can usually pick them up for $10 or so at thrift shops or on fleabay.

I had a Shanling Tempo CD player for a while before donating it to a friend who continues to enjoy it to this day. a Great little CD player with inbuilt Burr Brown DAC. Not bad at all for the cost.
