Looking for blown Peavey Black Widow 18" Basket/Cone assemblies...

Posted a wanted ad here and at Lansing Heritage... but I thought I'd ask and see if any of you folks had any other ideas where I should look...

I need some of the field-replacable basket assemblies from blown Peavey Black Widow 18" drivers. When you get a "recone" from Peavey, they send you an entire basket/cone assembly, to which you just bolt on the magnet assembly from your old basket. This leaves an old basket with a blown cone assembly, with nothing to do anymore. I need at least 3 of these, possibly 5.

I've got word in at the local PA repair/recone shops around here... anybody got any other ideas about places I might ask?

Call all the musical instrument stores...many carry Peavey and you'd be surprised as to what they sometimes have laying around. I'll check around here for you.

Had one a few years back... i replaced 3 BW 18's with comparable drivers in a night club.

Pretty sure the whole basket / cone / coil is $189 retail for the 18", isn't it?

To the rest of you folks, offering stuff... thanks, but Grumpy's right, that kind of thing belongs in the want ads. I've put an ad there... I was just looking for info on other places to check around, in this thread...
