Looking for Conrad-Johnson PV10B schematic

Hi all,

Do any of you fine people happen to have the schematic for the C-J PV10B preamp? I have one on the way to me now via UPS from a nice gentleman in Alabama, and I'm curious to see how exactly it differs in circuit design from my current PV10AL (other than the obvious addition of a phono stage!). I've checked the Conrad Johnson Owners' forum and have had no luck finding the schematic so far.

Quickest and easiest? E-mail CJ's service department and ask.They sent me pdf copies of the owners and service manuals for my PV-5.Free.
These folks really support their products and the people who use them.

Good to know -- thanks for that info! I actually did send them an email just before creating this thread, but wasn't sure what sort of response I'd get back, so I figured I'd cast a wide net. I'm glad to hear that they are so supportive of their products (and people who like to service their own products).

I'll post back to this thread when I hear back from them. If it won't be violating any sort of copyright, etc., I'll also provide the material I get from them.

No,they did not mention any re-distribution restrictions whatsoever.I gotta say,even the ''official'' PV-5 schematic looks like it was hand drawn on the lunchroom table
Since most of the service information for their older gear is already all over the net anyways,perhaps they were not concerned This may not apply to their newer equipment though.

And yeah, it seems that they relied on hand-drawn schematics for a number of their amplifiers... good thing those lunchroom table scribbles on a napkin would turn into something that sounded so good!

Alright, got the schematic from CJ! As promised, I'm sharing the wealth and attaching it here for the AK community.

Well, 1983 (my PV-5) to 1998 (your PV10B),and It appears that their draughtsman is still scribbling schematics on napkins
If you think this is bad,you should see the official Audio Research D70 & D70 MKII schematics; same style, but vastly more complicated and with many dozens of parts!

All joking aside,I certainly can't criticize CJ or ARC,their customer support efforts are legendary.
