Looking for Information on Calbest Electronics Audio Equipment

I am new to the forum and also tube audio equipment. I just purchased a Calbest Model 6700 Musicmaster Stereoplex Receiver and am trying to find owner's manual + information on the Calbest Electronics Co. in Los Angeles. I think it was made sometime around 1967. You can play AM and FM separately and the construction/tube layout seems to compare to Fisher of that era. The receiver face is original but made out of teak wood rather than metal and is the only piece of audio equipment I have ever seen that is constructed this way! Most important, it really sounds great with my Klipschorns!

I review the vintage audio for sale sources online quite often and never have seen this manufacturer before. My hypothesis is they made a good product but could not compete with cheaper Japanese audio equipment exported to the USA at that time so they came and went in a short time. I would be grateful for any comments, references or other information sources anyone can provide.
