I had a 114 10-band equalizer back late 70s in my home stereo system (Accuphase E202, Altec model 19-ish home build cabinets with original Altec components, etc), and this little equalizer always worked very nicely. Also considering the model 127 15-band version. Anyone know where I could find the schematics? Looked around but could not find any online leads. Before buying either one wanted to make sure I had some technical documentation on those two models. Yes I know its a very simple straight forward design, but still it would be nice to have a printed schematic and not having to reverse engineer them from zero.
Planning on upgrading op-amps to NE5532, not sure what other upgrades are recommended, besides the obvious swapping critical resistors with metal film, same with the critical caps, and of course check/replace any weak/bad electrolytic caps.
Also, any recommendations about other MXR models worth considering? Or perhaps any ones better not considering due to having some known flaws or issues? BTW would prefer any recommendations to also have RCA in/out jacks instead of 1/4" for easier interfacing.
Thanks for any information.
