Looking to recone my 10” woofer

Hello. Any recommendations on where to get my 10” woofer reconed? Preferably in the SF Bay Area, but willing to ship. It’s the woofer for my Beovox M75. I did an ugly refoam on it and there is a slight rubbing with voice coil. Speakers sounds good at lower volume, but starts to distort once I crank up the volume.

Have you thought about re-refoaming it? As long as you used a water based glue the new surround should come off without too much trouble.

If you do recone it I would probably recone the woofer in the other speaker as well.

Why a recone? Sounds like it needs the foam replaced and shimmed proper with a new foam so the VC doesn't rub.

Unless done with OEM components (or those designed specifically for the driver under discussion), doing a recone is questionable at best. Many B&O speakers used Philips drivers, so it would probably be easier (and cheaper) to just find a used replacement. But I agree with the above posters. Most likely, a correctly done refoam will fix the problem.
