Loudness switch too loud..Sansui AU717

ok,so i have this Sansui AU717 it plays great but every once in a while i use my loudness switch and one channel gets very loud while the other just stays the same.It has happened before and for some reason fixed itself and worked fine.Had it on loudness for about a year which worked fine at that point,then thought i would test it again a few times...worked...then today i did the same thing and the channel(left always) got louder again....works fine in normal mode always.Any help will be appreciated.
De-oxid it....no go

You can also pretty much tell if it is a dirty switch that when it acts up, try pushing, turning, jiggling it a few times and see what happens.
 
dont want to do this too hard but moved it enough up and down and side to side with no results

i just De-Oxid it and ...no go
