I guess these are not expensive enough real Klipch to these die hard fans .
I should had posted it in speaker section Can mod move it .

I have a pair of R610f speakers. Even more low budget. Mated to my Fisher 440T they sound great. So those should suit you well. But listening to them first wouldn't hurt.

I’ve got a pair of the r-26f’s and biamped they sound great. I use them in a 5.1 setup, along with r-15m surrounds, rc62ii center and r-12sw subwoofer. When listening to music it’s in stereo mode and as I said sounds great.

I wonder if the duel 8” woofer really adds enough bass or sticking to duel 6.5” is plenty of bass ?? New reference looks same as old models and Klipch icon/ synergy.
Only 1.5” x2 Larger ehh so 3” total

I asked myself the same question until I biamped the 26’s. Room size is also a big factor.

Bass amount and enjoyment is “sub”jective. If you need more bass, get a sub. My 5.0 HT system has RP250F mains, run full range without a sub. I think they sound great. Using a 5x140 watt Marantz MM7055 power amp.
