Low Volume and watts speaker, with high quality

Hello folks, first don't get upsets with my mistakes english is'nt my first langage, ahah
So here is my question, I have a technics Quartz Table and a realistic STA-700 amplifier.
I actually have cheap speakers, Sony SS-RXD3, they do there jobs but... I recently bought myself an awesome gift ahah, I bought seineiser Headphone, and I did fall for good sounds! So my question is :
What are some high quality speakers, for a low wattage amplifier like the one I told you before?
If we talk about budget, I'm willing to spend what it cost, but I don't have the needs of paying for nothing, I don't want to pay for a compagny, or for small difference with a sinificative difference in the ''cost''. So that was all about my question, thanks inbefore your answer!

These speakers can do amazing things with just four watts. Not exactly "cheap" but then again it's not "paying for nothing."

Hello darkblue,that's really decent but my first priority isnt saving money, it's having a high quality sounds!
My actually speaker works very well, i just know i can get better sounds! Thank you anyway

For that amp, you should be looking for speakers with a sensitivity rating of 95dB or higher. This should give you the ability to play them loud (when you want to do so), with enough headroom in your amp to keep audible clipping distortion to an acceptable level.

He's wants a recommendation for a set of speakers that will sound better than the ones he currently owns. I can't help because all I know about is vintage speakers. But surely somebody here uses current models and can make a recommendation.

Yeah 379 But can be found cheaper , and they should work ok with your amp, they are pretty efficient at 94db. You can find older Cerein Vega speakers too that will play well with your amp

Letting us know how much your willing to spend will help us make reccomdndations. My advice would be to upgrade both your amp and speakers, that will give you many more options. Lots of good stereo gear on the used market.

Hi thanks for your reply, well I dont want to spend much but... I want quality, If my amplifier can manage good speaker I dont mind keeping it. I dont want a low volume only for my amplifier, I dont listen to music too loud just a little bit loud as soon has its too loud I dont like it. Maybe the klipsch are good for me?
If i spend under 200$ I'm really happy. I mean, there's some headphone ... the Beats studio... they are 380$ and i bought this pair of sennheiser for 260$.. no need to spend for some speaker for a brand, just quality... price rate, ect

If I were you I would go to your local Best Buy and listen to the Klipsch there, I would also check out the Polk RTI-A3 bookshelf, they're on sale now for 350 a pair The the quality is very good for the price, Might not be as loud as the Klipsch but you may like them better and I'd bet they'd be loud enough from what you said

If you don't mind the 350 bucks then I'd buy new. Buying used there is no warranty if something should happen. Also buying on eBay is a pain if there is a problem. I'd only buy used if I can go look and listen to them first. Check out Canuck AudioMart .com You might find something there used you can actually go listen to first. Many in your price range and Province.
