I've got a few LPs with warps bad enough to render them unplayable (at least on the outer tracks), which I'd like to be able to play. I've seen a record flattening machine online, although it's stupid expensive to buy for home use

However, I could see an audio or record store buying one, and flattening LPs for customers as a service, for a fee. Does anyone know of anyplace that does that? Houston area would be ideal, but I'm willing to ship the LPs if I have to.
Alternatively, anyone know any methods to flatten records that actually work? I've thought about maybe getting a couple of sheets of flat glass the size of an LP, making a glass/LP/glass sandwich, and heating it in the oven at low heat for a while. Anyone try that, or have another method?
Thanks!
