LP Storage - New LP Sleeves from Bags Unlimited

I came across a new product from Bags Unlimited called BOXPRO Snug Fit LP Box Protector (https://www.bagsunlimited.com/produ...stal-clear-apetbr12-716-x-12-716-x-316insidea)

It seems to be a semi rigid hybrid between a Poly Sleeve and a plastic box for your LPs. I am looking to store my records in the manner of Jacket in a Poly Sleeve, Record in a Mofi style sleeve stored behind the Jacket in the Poly Sleeve. These LP boxes seem to be a super hardcore overkill option to a regular thick Poly Sleeve. It's hard to tell on Bags Unlimited's (frankly terrible) website if these would be a good option for that.

Any experience with these? They seem new and I cant find much info about them on any forum or from any collectors. I understand that these are pricy and a lot of people wouldnt have the time or money to use these.... but aside from that, any thoughts? I've ordered 10 and am waiting on them to see if they will work for my rather small collection.

Maybe a few for costly records but they’d take up WAY too much room for me to use. Are the poly ones not doing what you want?

No, I'm just very anal - I actually found these because they make the same thing for cassette tape cases, which is what I was after. My vinyl collection is small enough that it wouldn't cost me too much money, time or space to use these. If they work my anal brain will thoroughly enjoy the extreme overkill protection and storage lol. I figured people with large collections would be adverse about these
 
Seems like super overkill and they're definitely far too expensive for anyone with a reasonably large collection. It's a pass for me, but you do you - whatever makes you happy with your collection, go for it.
 
^agreed. I would only consider it for a really valuable record like a numbered White Album or something. I have more than 2500 records and I can't say that any are in that category.

I hate those things too. A royal pain in the ass, plus you take the risk of accidentally getting it stuck on the cover and ripping off a layer of cover slick or inner sleeve. I've had it happen. What I do with my really valuable / super rare pieces is I double sleeve them. Album goes in one sleeve with cover opening at sleeve opening. Then that whole unit goes in another sleeve with sleeve opening at top as usual. So two sleeves 90 degrees to each other.
