LP12 Plinth on a Thorens TD160 'B' MK2

Soon my Dad will be giving me his Thorens TD160 'B' MK2 turntable.

I like the look of the older Linn LP12 plinths, the ones with the fluted lines going around.

So, I'm asking will a LP12 plinth fit a Thorens TD160?

It would depend if the sizes are the same. It seems to me that you could easily have a woodshop make a Linn looking base that would fit. Not sure why you'd want to, or whether it would be worth the expense even if you want to (you might be able to sell the Thorens and buy a Linn for close to what you'd pay for a used base or having one made). But its your call..
