Nice pics Luther! :thmbsp: How'd the S.E.X. amp sound with the Insignias? What crossover mods did they choose for the Insignias? They don't look like the GR Research mods.

Actually, the speakers still have the same stock crossovers. The external component is a double notch filter designed by John Krutke of Zaph Audio. The schematic was linked somewhere within this thread, but the link wasn't working last time I checked.

Even with the notch filter and a can of damping material smeared inside the enclosures the Insignias look a lot better than they sound. These speakers have gotten a lot more attention than they deserve. I believe anybody who was at the meetng will agree they sounded pretty crappy compared to any of the other speakers we heard. Just my 2 cents :thumbsdn:
