Lubricating a JL A40 Turntable

Ptlud

I have a JL A40 turntable whose rotational speed is variable. After not being used for a while, the platter will no rotate for a few seconds. I know the JL A40 is direct drive. Is it possible to lubricate the turntable to improve the speed consistency?

Thanks.

The motor of the JVC JL-A40 appears to be a sealed unit.

Don't have my here at the moment can't check visually.

It is possible to restore speed consistency by giving the speed related switches the DeOxit cleaning/treatment. :)
