Lucky day at the Thrift store!

[randballen]

Found these yesterday at a Thrift store that I visit every once in a while. Cabinets were in bad shape but some Howard's Restore A Finish made them look nice. They are in perfect working condition with all original drivers. One of the grills has a stain on the cloth but both Dynaco badges are attached. A nice pair of Dynaco A25-XL's for $14.99!

Nice find!

Yup... VERY-nice find... Would love a deal like that myself. Those are fun, little speakers.

After listening these A25-XLS for a week, I am convinced that they are keepers. Their versatility is quite amazing. From Martini In The Morning and Sinatra to Ozzy ( well, not blow your windows out level) these little guys perform flawlessly. They have replaced, for now, my KLH 32's ( still love them for the lounge and Rat Pack genre ). Now I'm on the hunt for some AR 3's.
