Luxman C120 and M120

Use the G-120 Input and Output jacks
Use the C-120 Rec Out and Moni jacks

C-120 Rec Out to G-120 Input
G-120 Output to C-120 Moni

Select proper Tape Moni 1 or 2 to select the equalizer.

The Moni/Rec Out on the G-120 are for the addition of a tape deck on the eq (to provide the loop the eq used up on the preamp).
Front panel controls
Attenuator is a volume control, used to make the switch to the tape the eq is plugged into the same volume. Lower the attenuator if you use a lot of + eq and increase it if you use a lot of - eq.
Normal-Bypass-Record use the normal position most of the time, the Bypass to confirm the loop (Tape Moni on the C-120) to verify the G-120 is getting signal and record puts the eq you set into the Rec Out on the EQ which would normally get a non-eqed signal to record (and use the eq on playback)

Not much else to that one. Ask if you need more and I'll go look at mine.

Ok. Got it. Thanks.
I thought I smelled smoke when I first plugged it in and I was afraid I was going to toast it so I asked for directions before I Do anything stupid.

Glad you got it. That is why I'm here to keep from doing anything stupid whether with my gear or sometimes helping others. Not that you could have hooked the eq up in a way to cause too much smoke, if any. Enjoy.
