Hi everyone,
I need some help with my newly bought Luxman L-430. I accidentally shorted volume lamp wire to the chassis and the entire front panel went completely dead — none of the indicator LEDs or lights are working, there's no sound. Before this happened everything functioned properly.
Main power seems to be present, as the red LEDs on board PB-1409A-8 are lit up. There seems to be a front panel power circuit issue. For me there are no visibly burnt or charred components.
I have little to none electronics repair experience, but i'm eager to learn and want to repair it, as there's no one in my area who could do the service for me. I have just bought a digital multimeter.
Could anyone help me figure out what might have blown when the volume lamp wire shorted?
I’m attaching 2 photos of the board (front and rear). On the first photo in red circle marked the volume lamp wire, that caused the problem.
I'm very grateful for any help!
