Happy New Year!!!!
After recapping this L-450 a few months ago...And a few threads on other L-450's just sounding OK...I will be Re-Doing this Recap. While the sound was Better then Original..It was not Whole (Spacious, Mushy Low End and Highs not clear).
Looking over my other Recaps...I have learned and put together what works Best with a Audio Brand.
Luxman I find that Elna Silmic II are it...for the Main Caps a Good Audio type will work...Nichicon KG or MUNDORF or Panasonic
I am taking out the Nichicon FG and GU(Main Caps) and replacing with:
Elna Silmic II
Main Cans: Panasonic CE Audio
Resistors: Precsion Resistive Products (GP)9372 audio 1%
Yes…I am Replacing the Resistors (as I did for MAC 1900).
Working what I have on hand…and Ordering the rest.
So how is the Sound so Far....Know it's a LUXMAN...
