Exactly, a few tweaks, the dim bulb tester dimmed and the relay clicked. There are still a few gremlins to iron out, but the amp powers up and plays, so at least I can keep troubleshooting.
I'm now experiencing nice clean sound for the first 5-10 minutes of listening, however once the unit warms up, there is a very noticeable scratchy sound coming from the left channel. The scratchy noise occurs on all inputs selected (AUX, Phono etc), at any volume, does not change when turning tone knobs, doesn't change with any dub switches etc. The only thing that kills it is if I turn the A/B speaker switch off.
I still need to fine tune the bias and offset, although I'm not sure if that's the issue. Any other ideas?
