Luxman LX-104 Opposite Servo Face Issue

Hello! I recently picked up a Luxman LX-104 and no surprise, the suck face did not work. Somebody had wedged toothpicks into the face to keep it retracted at some point... I took it apart and the face was completely stuck in the retracted position it would not budge. I took the whole mechanism out of the front and something popped and suddenly the face could move in and out. I found the correct belt from another thread on this forum, replaced the bad belt, and put everything back together... The face now sucks in just fine!

However... now I seem to have the opposite problem everyone else has with the Luxman suckface! The face never moves back out. I can pull it out (after the mechanism moves to the off position) and it mostly stays there until I power back on and then it sucks right back in. From looking at the mechanism I have no idea what should push the face out once the motor driven mechanism stops pulling it in. Can anybody please point me in the right direction?? I've got everything else working I'd really love to get the face working right!

Don’t know. Locked my RX-102 Face down with a piece of wire. Just one less thing less to break. I always thought it was kind of gimmicky, though the receiver itself works and sounds great

Ok I think I have found the culprit... I still don't know what would've caused the mechanism to be seized when I got it but it looks like 3 of the 4 tabs I assume this part should have are gone and I'm betting that was the pop ingot when I dissambled. Without the plastic attached there the spring doesn't compress so the face never pushes back out. So now I have to explore how to fix it or just permanently glue it in which would make any future suckface repair... problematic...
