Luxman pd 375 dustcover and hinges

So I just bought a luxman pd 375 and I'd like to link this threat for ANYONE wanting to repair a pd 375 https://audiokarma.org/forums/index.php?threads/luxman-pd-375.151851/ it basically explains and addresses every defect that a pd 375 usually has. Anyhow I managed to fix my pd 375 and it's working pretty well however the dustcover has a crack in it and one of the hinges has snapped. Is there a way to buy replacement hinges ? And is there anyway to fix a crack in the dustcover ? (pictures coming asap not on my phone atm)

You'd have to find hinges and a dustcover from a parts donor turntable, which may take you some time.

is that the only way? can't I strip the hingesfrom a non luxman player ? same with the lid sicne luxman players are really expensive. For example these linn hinges https://www.ebay.nl/itm/Linn-Hinges...032145?hash=item4b64d20311:g:crMAAOSwCo1c5U1D look really similar

They may or may not fit a Luxman. Some hinges are different. I know the Linn hinges will fit the CEC Built Realistic LAB 420, for one example. Linn parts are often not cheap either. Some of the Luxman turntables were sourced from Micro-Seiki, so a Micro-Seiki parts turntable of similar model, might yield results.
