Greetings. I wonder if it is possible to separate the R-1050 amplifier part from the rest and use it as a standalone. I have tried to "inject" my CD player output directly into the amplifier part with the preamp disconnected but that doesn't seem to work it doesn't even come out of protection. Something to do with feedback?
The reason I got the idea is because this R-1050 is not complete, casing, knobs and so on are missing.
