Luxman R-117 value? Marantz 2230

Can anyone give me a price/value on a nice Luxman R-117 receiver? It is located in Palouse, WA. It functions perfectly. It does have a few nicks on it. Thank you!!

I also have a Marantz 2230 with one channel. If someone had an idea what it is worth with the channel out, please let me know. I understand this may be tough so no worries!

The Luxman & The Marantz are both popular receivers that sell quite often, your best bet it to research completed/sold listings on eBay then average out.

It does not, just the metal case that is supposed to look like woodgrain.

For me a good deal on a working average condition 2230 and 117 would be $150 and $275, in reality though more like $250 and $400. Excellent cosmetic condition and properly restored will drive the prices up drastically, and that applies to all vintage gear. Neither is rare but both are excellent performers, I dont pay avg price for anything as I already have a few to listen to, if it take weeks or months searching for a deal then so be it. Just because a beautiful restored one sells for $600 doesnt mean a nicked up one with a bad relay, bad solder joints, flaky controls and out of spec components is worth that, more like 1/3rd the price.

yup, good deal prices. Seems the going rate, the higher bay pricing is more. But we don't buy a lot at prevailing bay prices.
