So I bought what I thought was a luxman sq 507x but what ended up being a luxman sq505x with a 506 front secondhand a couple days ago but it has a dead right channel. After some trouble shooting I found out that someone had connected the pre amp connector switch incorrectly so I was hoping that was thee issue but it wasn't. With the switch functioning again I was able to figure out that the pre amp work on both channels. Assuming one of the power amp sections needed a recap I tried playing around with the connectors on those since you can swap them. After doing this I figured out that both of the power amp sections are also functioning. So the issue has to be somewhere in the circuit where the power amp connects to the pre amp board but I am kind off stumped now. I was planning on just recapping the pre amp board and seeing if that solves anything but I don't think that will do much now. Any tips ? Maybe things to try ?
