Luxman "Suckface" Repair - Help

I have located a few posts related to the "suckface" Luxman product line from the early 80's. My "suckface" is not functioning. I know there was a seller on eBay, rdsjss, who used to offer the belt for repair and also included clear instructions on how to fix these. Apparently that seller is no longer providing the belt and is not active any longer. I was really hoping to see if any other members here may have those instructions and be willing to share those with me? I think I have a line on the right sized belt, .08x22mm square. Does this sound correct? This will be my first foray into a Luxman and some directions would prove most useful. If you have any information or the printed directions I'd appreciate the assist. Thanks for the time and for looking. BTW my suckface is a cassette deck. The KX-101.

Thanks for that. Looks like the right belt but the primary thing I am looking for are the instructions on the replacement that the previously named seller provided. Those would prove most useful before I dig in. I am sure there is a member or two that have those directions.
 
It would be nice to have a how to documented for this procedure. I have an RX-103 near the bench that needs the belt and without suck face working the phono amps does not get powered. I guess that would be a problem.
 
If you’re positive on the size shape of the belt, and or have a part number, I have a bunch of different belts I got from a local repairman who closed up shop. Don’t have a lot of time to hunt through them, hence the wanting to know correct part number, etc.
 
I have ordered a couple of differing sized belts so I am covered there. I am looking for the directions that were provided when buying the belt but seller, rdsjss is no longer on eBay. I have sent the seller a message but have not and do not expect a reply. I am hoping a member here has those directions. Thanks.
 
Got em... moving on into the repair. Motor is functional, switch is functional so I am hoping for some modest suck sess!
 
How did your repair turn out?
I have recently acquired a RX-103. Works well except for the servo/suck action. Motor is fine, micro switch fine, belt is stretched.
I've tried to recondition the belt but no positive results.
 
Worked well. Funny that you ask, as I am listening to the deck now. The belt was a perfect fit. I bought four different belt sizes since I was not certain which size was correct. The belt that worked was from Vintage-Electronics. Was the SCX 2.6. Measurements on this belt are 2.6 Inner Circumference, .041 Cross Section and .041 Wall Thickness. It's a bit of work to get to it but pretty straight forward. A couple of things to watch out for. The planetary gears have washers between some gears. Be careful not to lose or miss those. They are quite small. I made a tool that allowed me to get to the front facing screw without taking the entire assembly apart but I don't know if that is applicable here since the motor and gears are much more buried on the RX-103. Regardless, take your time go slow and sounds like you've already been in there so you already know most of this. Good luck.
 
It's a great deck, bought mine on a 60% off sale back in 82. I used to record vinyl favorite tunes in Dbx, at that time the sound was better than cd's. I also dug dbx vinyl using the decoder in the deck. Mines in storage, but one day I'll break it iut.
