Luxman Tube CD player info needed

My old Luxman L105 D tube-equipped CD player is beginning to have transport issues. There might be a "u" in that model number, ..

Just wonder if any Akers know the make/model of the transport that Luxman used in this machine. Or, failing that, know of any available transport that can be subbed for the old one.

Thanks Danvee. Now, to see if that Sony transport is available, then perhaps it's time to take the whole mess to a good tech. Probably not justified in economic terms, but I kinda like the old Luxman.

I think you mean the D105U, I used to own one. Maybe not in economic terms, but in sound quality - hellyeah. One fine sounding CD player, way ahead of what else was available at the time. I only replaced it when I got a Philips CD-80 (also departed). Absolutely worth fixing.
