So last winter I saw a local add for a "Bass speaker", I responded ask what it was, not sure if it was a speaker cabinet for an electric bass or sub, or ???
The seller said it was a M&K bass speaker that had a rotted surround but would sell it for $20.00 . I jumped, it was a M&K sub with a 12 inch driver. After I loaded up the M&K, I asked the speaker if she had any other stereo gear for sale. She said "No, not right now but as we get ready to sell our house we will have the stereo for sale as well. I gave he rmy phone number and time passed, after 2 months passed I called, she said she still had my number and would call when she was ready. Well about 6 weeks passed and she called me this week, she had her stereo to sell.
I showed up today, she had the M&K satellite speakers, a Denon DCD-425 Cd player, a Tandberg 420 A cassette player and a Yamaha CR 1040 Receiver . We quickly reached an agreed upon price.
So now I have the M&Ks to match the sub, and lots of extras too.
Any idea what the M&K's are worth? Anything that I need to watch out for in terms of servicing and such?
