ma 400 worked once now dead

Digikey or Mouser.
But first you need to measure the maximum cap diameter, maximum height, and lead spacing to be able to match them up.
Also, whether they are soldered into a PC board, clamped to the chassis, with screw terminals or leads.
Please provide those dimensions.
Attach a photo of the board and existing caps.

I don't have a MA400 so I need to ask these questions.

Please provide the dimensions: diameter, height, (also maximum height), terminal spacing, type of terminal (solder lug, screw, PC mount).
Looks like you need 6800uF, 45V? 45v is an odd value, you can always go up in voltage rating as long as the physical size still fits so 50V is fine. You can also go up in capacitance as long as it is not an excessive amount.
If it's for a power supply circuit, sometimes it is better to go for an extended temperature range capacitor instead of the standard 85 deg.

I had asked for a photo of the previous caps, both top and bottom views.

My question to you is this: if you are asking these questions, are you capable of removing the old caps and installing the new ones?
  • Do you have a soldering iron, 60/40 or 63/37 solder, solder flux, something to remove the old solder (solder sucker, braid, etc.)?
  • Are you familiar with servicing electronics? There are dangerous and lethal voltages present even with the equipment unplugged.
  • Are you familiar with discharging capacitors before touching the terminals?
