MA5100...best way to open for deoxit

Ok, I am not one of you super technical guys so please bear with me. I did a deoxit on my MA5100 a few years back, did all the switches and pots and it was successful until recently. Now having issues with the switches and volume pot again where I dont have consistent volume on both channels...same issue I had back then. Terry worked the amp up for me back in 2010 so I am assuming it is otherwise ok. But, I dont actually recall how to best get at these switches? Do I need to remove the front glass....that is my phobia area as I dont want to mess that up. Can I flip the amp upside down and remove the bottom and get at the switches from there? I have forgotten how I did it last time as I did multiple amps at once and at 63 its all bled together. Appreciate the input.

Aloha !

Do not use any product in spray in your old MCINTOSH . All units I may have for repair need potentiometers or switches replacement because a wrong spray has been used inside ! these potentiometers and switches are obsolete today ! what can I do to save them ?
I strongly recommend you to use a syringe with paraffin oil inside . With this product you maybe able to save many bad contacts you may have in your unit
Best way to act is to work closer as possible to the switches and potentiometer and move them 30 to 50 times from mini to maxi for each pot . Same for the switches.
To be closer is more easy after taking the front panel complete off . No particular trouble to do it and you don't take any risk if you take all the panel complete . Do not try to touch the front glass

Thanks for the input. I will have to look online for parafin oil as that is a new one to me. As far as the front end is concerned, I will look at the unit and see if I can figure out which screws remove the front end as a whole without me having to mess with the glass. Looks like the 2 on the top would apply and I would guess there are similar ones on the bottom. It is a nice unit and I have read that there are issues with non replacement of the OEM pots and switches. I do like the sound of it so keeping it functional is important if it can be done relatively easily and at reasonable cost. There are no techs apparently anymore out here. The last guy was 80+ and seems to have retired. Shipping to LA or beyond is very expensive so our "disposable society" ends up winning out eventually. Ultimately, I may have to simply find another amp which will be challenging as a retiree. Aloha and mahalo for the input.

This parafine oil, is it the same stuff that is used for burning lamps? How about something like FaderLube 5% spray form Hosa? They stated it is safe for all plastic and carbon internal parts. And what do you recommend for MC2255, MC2155, C33 etc.?
