Hi Folks,
I want to buy the McIntosh MA5300 Integrated Amplifier, then buy and pair it with the McIntosh MT2 Turntable.
The MA5300 has only Moving Magnet inputs for Phono, yet the MT2 is Moving Coil.
The MT2 manual says the following:
The MT2 Precision Turntable is supplied with the Sumiko Blue Point 2 High Output Moving Coil Cartridge. The Sumiko Blue Point 2 output level is compatible with the MM (Moving Magnet) Input on most McIntosh Preamplifiers, Integrated Am- plifiers and A/V Control Center. It is designed to playback 33-1/3 rpm and 45 rpm vinyl recordings. Contact your McIntosh Dealer for additional infor- mation and assistance.
Does this seem OK to you MM/MC experts, as I am not one...
Thanks!
