Ma6900 remote to operate Mcd301 ?

Hi! Do I need a data cable to send basic commands (stop, play) to my new 301 by the 6900 remote? If so, where could I source one from?

...I did "search", and read manuals, but not quite sure yet...

Yes, you will need a 1/8 mini cable from the MA6900 to the MCD301. Your instruction manuals show how to hook up the cable between amp and source. McIntosh parts sell them or you can pick one up at the local Radio Shack.

rocat.......Make sure that 1/8" mini plug cable is a stereo mini plug cable.

And the connection is electrical, not optical (I was dumb enough to confuse this when I connected the MCD201 to the MA6500). :headscrat

For the power control, a "mono" connection will do.
