Well, AK Members. I have a dilemma!
A couple of months back, I picked up a non-working MAC 1900 receiver. Fast forward two months and I have everything now working! It sounds great, but I have a broken switch for the Remote 2 speaker (pushbutton).
The unit had the end of the original switch broken off and the plastic button cap missing. I have since found a replacement button cap, but I still need to replace the switch.
Two things are going on.
1. The last segment of the blue plastic is broken off, but the rest of the switch is in place.
2. When you push the switch, the "detent" or locking in on the switch (not sure of the correct terminology) doesn't keep the switch engaged in the "in" position, just comes back out when you release the switch.
I am trying to find a suitable replacement switch that I can swap out, but coming up empty. My first call was to Audio Classics and struck out. Been watching ebay for a couple of months and nothing yet. Anyone have ideas on where to source a replacement switch? Are there other ones that are compatible?
Thanks in advance!
Jim
