Mac mc300

Let,s take another shot at this, with no monetary component. What I do know is the mc-300 puts out the same wpc regardless of output load. When these amps are bridged and running in mono 600 wpc, @ 8 ohms will this mono figure also be valid, ie one that can be used to run a 2 ohm or 4 ohm load as well? Most other brands when running bridged are not rated for much below an 8 ohm load.

On the MC352, if in mono, there is 700W at 4, 2 or 1 ohm; I think it's the same for the MC300.

Jean-Marc.

In mono you still have the advantages of the output autoformer. I am on the road now but will be back next week to look at an MC300 manual.

Thanks,

Yes according to Roger Russell's great McIntosh site the MC300 is rated at 300 watts stereo 2,4 or 8 ohms and 600 watts mono 1,2,4,8 or 16 ohms.
I have not heard a MC300 so that is all the info I have for you.
