Mach One's ebay refoam question.

The seller of these Realistic Mach One's on ebay is showing off the refoam job, but to me they did two things wrong. First the foams on these woofers are applied under the cone not on top, second well there is no second. I'm not in the market for a pair of Mach One's but this would have caused me look elsewhere. Am I too critical?

This is why I prefer to buy speakers with bad surrounds and fix them myself. There's just too many people (technicians included) who buy the cheapest generic surround they can find and install them all the same way with no regards for choosing the correct surround or installing it correctly. I would also look elsewhere if I was looking for a pair.
 
No, I'd pass too. The refoam job looks extremely sloppy, IMHO. 'Should've applied them correctly.
