MacKit 30 -- Sticker or Metal Emblem??

I have seen pics of what appears to be silkscreen or sticker that says "MacKit 30" on the MC30 kit amp chassis. I have also seen what seems a metal emblem. Did they come with either?

Also, what color would the silkscreen or sticker be? Is it white or silver?

most I have seen had the white silkscreen on black chassis, some, far less frequently, had the chrome logo MacKit 30, same design as the silsckreen, but 3d chrome piece just like the standard MC30s.

Is that silkscreen? I always thought it was the same metal logo as on the regular MC30. Learn something everyday..:)

Here are the two versions:

Thanks for the replies. Does anyone have a "camera at perpendicular" angle to the "silkscreened" one? Reason I ask is I have a friend with a vinyl cutter and want to make a pair for my amps.

The image above is "almost perpendicular" and I may be able to use it. OTOH, maybe there is a "McIntosh Font" on the internet...

This is the first image with the gross perspective issues fixed. It's not 100% perfect, as there is some nonlinear camera lens distortion present, but probably good enough to use as a solid base.

Excellent 999, thanks.

And, the consensus is the lettering is pure white as opposed to a silver color, correct?

White paint. I rebuilt one a few years ago and it sounded identical to the normal MC30 I rebuilt at the same time. These were a money looser for Mc since they ended costing more than factory assembled so less than 200 were made.

I built a couple of Heath and Knight kits as well as a Dyna PAS-3x in the 70's. When I think of the packaging of the parts and the detailed instructions I could never figure out how these firms stayed in business as long as they did. Plus all the customer service hand holding for builders that didn't know which end of a soldering iron to hold.
