That Scott stack looks junky to me, but I have a Pioneer SX-3700 and I really liked the sound. I only swapped it out for my recently-acquired SX-1050, but it was my favorite of about 5 similar MOTL receivers. I got mine for $20 I believe, but I if you talked the seller down a bit, that could be a very reasonable purchase.
