Magnavox astro sonic skating

My tonearm suddenly is skating. I have tried various records with the same issue. I have also tried two different needles with the same results. It seems like it happens around the same place on the records which is around the first quarter of the record. What could be causing this and what is a solution to fix this?

Hi,
Wires or bearings.
Balance the tonearm.
Blow air toward the arm, and it should move freely.
Bad Bearings most the time produce a bump.
Wires are more stoping the tonearm at the end.
Btw, at the same point?
AG.

I am not sure how to balance the tonearm without a counterweight. It seems to skate towards the beginning of a record, or maybe I just haven't allowed a record to play along enough since this issue has come up. What bearings are you specifically talking about? I originally took the entire turntable apart to clean and grease, but I need more directions.

I was able to find the screw to adjust the spring tension on the tone arm, which I assume is how you balance that tonearm? It has stopped the arm from skating all the way across, but the needle now just skips. Could it just be that both needles are shot and that is causing the little skips or is this still a a balance issue? I have tried different records as well.
