Magnavox Astrosonic

I have a 65 Astrosonic 204-18-00, that I will be re-capping, I found this one linely piece soldered on the bottom of the tuner chasis. Is this a resistor, capacitor, or something else. I have a photo fact, it stops with 204-17-00, but it shows the piece. It kinda looks burned but it also looks like maybe it was just black. Should I replace it or leave it be?

Also looking for transistor ideas. Currently has 4 each 67P1Cs. I can't find any cross reference on this transistor. The photo fact shows GE3s. If I have 1 bad one should I replace all 4 so they are the same?

"dogbone" capacitor. Apparently to adjust the baseline capacitance of one of the tuning gangs. Leave it be unless you have some evidence that it's bad (which would be pretty rare).

Are the transistors you are asking about the audio output transistors? If so, typically they would be replaced as pairs, at least. Opinions will vary about whether both pairs should be replaced. Maybe the first concern should be whether you can find a suitable substitute for even one.

Oh, and welcome to AK!

Yes, I think they are push pull so they should match in my mind, but if I can't find a direct replacement should I do all 4?
