Bought an old Magnavox Console at an estate sale..took the amp for another project. Neat old turntable remains.. Platter spun although slowly and the needle picked up sound when I tapped on it when it was hooked up. Value or collectible?

It has value, though minimal. I often sell these tables for ten or twenty bucks. However, you could refurb it, build a plinth for it, and probably get $60 to $100 from a hipster wanting a vintage table.

Those are one of the best changers, usually need a lot of work to get running right. Unrestored console pulls, without a base, maybe $20

I'd also price that somewhere in the $20 range. I paid $3 for my last unrestored console pull, but that was a Garrard.

Agreed, about $20. Too bad you had to part it out as that was a nice looking unit as you got it.

Thanks for the replies.. I too hated to part it out but space is an issue. The storage cabinet is now in our living room corner and fits in nice with our other vintage pieces. after removing the speakers, am offering the gutted piece to a friend that does "makeovers" to old furniture. I saw where somebody made a nice liquor cabinet similar to one of these. I took the logo and the old diamond sticker off to go with my tube amp project.
