Magnavox Micromatic TT question

As I think I've shared several times, I have a mid-70's Magnavox console stereo in which the TT needs work. Until I can afford to get it fixed, I'm thinking of simply finding another one to throw in there. Most everything I'm seeing is a little older model than mine, but physically look about the same. So will any Micromatic changer swap out another one? Thanks!

The key factors are the footprint (so that the cutout for the old changer will agree with the architecture underneath the substitute model) and the plug/socket per se.

Figure about a 50-75% chance that a swap will work with only minor alterations.

NOTE: the dominant failure mode on that series of Magnavox changers is that the idler wheel arm bearing freezes up (not the same as the idler wheel journal bearing.)

Thanks, Fred. I'm probably going to take the chance on it and, if nothing else, I can use parts off the one for the console TT. Thanks for the quick reply!
