Magnavox stereo console turntable (oakland lake merritt / grand)

condition: fair
size / dimensions: L40

This is a Magnavox micromatic stereo console, first sold in 1961. The speakers are good, the tubes are good. The needle was replaced about 5 years ago but never used. The speed needs attention it runs too slow. The motor works well, it might just need cleaning. It hasn't been well tended the last few years, it's dusty and stained. It does work, but again, the speed is wrong. Great for a tinkerer. It had great sound early on.

Free is good for a 185 or 8601 series amp. The cabinet is disposable and guilt free as well....:thmbsp:
